CN Scrap Car Recycling Vol. Swells 27.6%/ 72.9% YoY in 1H24/ Jun

　　Xu Xingfeng, director general of the Department of Consumption Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), said at a special news conference held by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) that, there are 24 localities that have introduced subsidy policies for auto replacement, and 20 localities that have issued special documents on the trade-in of home appliances.

　　In 1H24, China's recycling volume of scrap cars amounted to 2.778 million, up 27.6% YoY, while the national recycling volume of scrap cars in May/ June increased by 55.6%/ 72.9% YoY, respectively.
