SENSETIME-W Spikes ~15% after Midday before Releasing SenseNova 5.5 This Fri

　　World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) for 2024 (WAIC 2024) will be held in Shanghai starting tomorrow (4th). SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) +0.200 (+14.493%) Short selling $36.36M; Ratio 1.669% announced that the company, as a strategic partner of the conference, will hold the WAIC Sensetime Forum this Friday (5th) with the theme “Boundless Love - Towards New Power” (literal translation of “大愛無疆-向新力”), and will release the SenseNova 5.5 foundation model.

　　SENSETIME foretold that it will comprehensively upgrade the “cloud-terminal-edge” full-stack foundation model product matrix, and will sign a number of blockbuster cooperation agreements to accelerate the transition of generative AI to the industry with industry partners.

　　This morning (3rd), SENSETIME-W opened 2.2% higher and continued to rise in the afternoon, peaking at $1.62, hitting an almost-two-month high. It last printed at $1.58, up 14.49%, with 1.971 billion shares traded, involving $3.033 billion.
