On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Australia to visit broker CMC Markets as planned according to its regulatory address that Level 20, Tower 3, International Towers, 300 Barangaroo Avenue, NSW 2000, Sydney, Australia.

The investigators arrived at International Towers at 300 Barangaroo Avenue in Sydney, the capital of NSW, Australia on December 6, 2023. The building complex is located on the harbour foreshore at Barangaroo, comprised of three prime office towers named International Tower 1, 2, and 3 respectively. According its regulatory information, CMC Markets is situated on the 20th floor of Tower 3.

After accessing the building, the survey personnel spotted a reception area in the lobby. However, people werent allowed to visit the working area upstairs without an access card due to stringent security reasons. And there was no lobby directory in the tower.

Through an on-side investigation, it remains unconfirmed whether CMC Markets has a physical presence at the location or not.

The survey team went to Australia to visit broker CMC Markets as scheduled, and failed to enter the building where the company is located. Therefore, it remains unknown if the broker has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make an informed decision following an overall consideration.
