CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK) to Release New Cabin Products in Each of Coming 3 Yrs

　　CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK) -0.080 (-0.983%) Short selling $15.19M; Ratio 40.530% announced that it will launch new seat products in each of the coming 3 years, beginning with an all-new Business class experience, a new Premium Economy seat and a refreshed Economy class on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft later this year. These will be followed by new Boeing 777-9 aircraft joining the fleet in 2025, and a brand-new cabin design for its Airbus A330 in 2026.

　　CATHAY will be rolling out complementary inflight Wi-Fi for Business class customers and Diamond members in the near future. Furthermore, starting July, the airline will also be increasing its cabin crew complement on some flights.

　　In the 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, CATHAY ranked 5th in the World‘s Best Airline, up 3 places from last year, and was awarded the World’s Best Economy Class Airline and the World‘s Cleanest Airline. These distinctions followed CATHAY being named the 3rd-best premium airline in the world in AirlineRatings’ rankings last month, up six places from last year.
