SENSETIME Releases Ver. 5.5 of SenseNova Foundation Model; 30%/ 15% Rise in Performance/ Inference Efficiency

　　SENSETIME-W (00020.HK) -0.210 (-13.043%) Short selling $46.94M; Ratio 3.278% chairman and CEO Xu Li released version 5.5 of the company's SenseNova foundation model, named “SenseNova 5o”, at the WAIC.

　　The new version is benchmarked against GPT4-Turbo. The performance of the base model with 600 billion parameters increased by 30%, with inference thinking ability improved through synthetic data. After upgrades to terminal-side models, model accuracy raised by 10%, first packet delay reduced by 40%, and inference efficiency elevated by 15%.

　　Xu pointed out that through the superimposition of a large amount of industry information and data, version 5.5 of SenseNova saw improvements in reasoning and language capabilities, with the model's ability rising 30% on average. Specifically, Mathematical reasoning ability grew 31.5%, English ability hiked 53.8%, and instruction following ability advanced 26.8%. The model's interaction effect is benchmarked against GPT4o, and its multi-modal core index has partially surpassed the GPT4o-0513 version.
